The separation and orderly feeding of parts is the first step in the production process. Ideally, many different types of parts can be fed with one system in order to represent a higher product variance. Particularly high flexibility is achieved by combining vision systems with robots. Once detected, the parts can be picked up precisely, aligned if necessary and fed to the assembly station.
