Componenet handling
The rotary indexing table represents a particularly compact type of component handling and is used in both semi-automatic and fully automatic machines when all components pass through the same process steps in the same sequence. Since all component feeds and machining operations are placed radially around the centre of the system, the result is a footprint that tends to be square.
Rotary indexing tables with servo drive can also run through partial steps so that additional component fixtures can be kept in stock without any set-up effort.
